
Steve Jackson Games CEO, Southern Hobby marketing head among newly elected directors at tabletop trade organisation GAMA
Board game trade organisation GAMA has revealed the results of its latest board of directors elections, with Steve Jackson Games CEO Meredith Placko and Southern Hobby Distribution marketing head Tiffany Reid among the newly-elected members.

Placko begins a two-year term representing publishers on the non-profit organisation’s board, while Wehrlegig Games co-founder Drew Wehrle was re-elected in the creator category and current board vice president Monica Rasso returning for Media & Events.
Former GAMA president Eric Price, who works in business development for Meijia Games Factory, was re-elected in the production category, while
Jay Mason-Grant from Black Knight Games retained his role as chair of the retail segment in what will be his final term, as GAMA rules prevent anyone serving more than a maximum of six consecutive years.
Maryam Al-Hammamim from The Game Chest and John Stephens from Total Escape Games were both newly elected as retail officers.
Stephens, was previously a retail officer at GAMA prior to the pandemic, and has recently been heavily involved in GAMA’s search for a new home for its GAMA Expo trade show through the organisation’s site selection committee, creating a series of in-depth write-ups about the process.
Danny O’Neil, a long-time Alliance Game Distributors sales manager who now works for Mood Publishing, was newly elected in the wholesale category, while Southern Hobby Distribution head of marketing Tiffany Reid was elected to complete a one-year term as a wholesale officer.
All the other elected officers aside from Reid will serve two-year terms, which began on April 1.
